why does that happen to love, to marriage?
i used to be nuts about the hubby
now
i love him sure
but im also totally repulsed by him
why didnt i notice the bad breath and the fact that he never flosses when i first met him and married him ?
or the stinky feet
or the messiness and the inability to get anywhere on time
ever?
was he always this grodie?
or is love blind?
or what?

Just wondering...

I have a fear of intimacy, which extends to all levels. I've never had a romantic relationship with anyone, and I also have problems expressing intimacy in a non-romantic sense i.e. with family members.

All through my life, there was a kind of intimacy barrier between myself and my parents which I didn't really notice. Now that there are new additions to the family in the form of babies (niece and nephew), the problem has become even more noticeable. When asked to cuddle the babies, handle them, sing to them or talk to them in a particular way, I become very frightened. Its now at the point where I'm trying everything to avoid visiting them. Now, family members are starting to notice....

Why have I become like this, and what can I do to overcome this fear?

Who decides what is "right" and what is "wrong"?

Are morals absolute? Are they black and white?

What's the first thing that comes to your mind?
Do you automatically associate all single mothers with the stereotype, or do you try to look past it?

I know i'm 15 and that these things are natural. but is there any way to lower my lustful thought? I've gone out before and it seemed like I've liked a girl, then later on figure out it just physical attraction. I just want to be able to love someone without wondering if it's just sexual attraction clouding my judgment. so I was wondering if there was any way to lower this to a more controlled level.

My friend and her younger sister got raped the other day by 3 robbers who forcefully went in their home. She refuses to let other people know about it and we understand but we are afraid she may be afraid to go out again. She is naturally very shy, timid and not very sociable and what happened to her may make things worse. How can we, her friends, help her?

galbraith ['dean of economists'] says that capital formation is highest [= money cheapest] in egalitarian states eg scandinavia - & zero in extreme richpoor states eg middle east

note the distribution does not alter the AMOUNT of money

i guess that capital formation [savings] is highest in egalitarian states because there is a PLATEAU of success for everyone who works - when ppl arrive & see they have arrived [equal pay for equal work, no pay for no work ie no overpay, no work for no pay ie no underpay] they can relax & save

they are not: on a steep slippery slope between wealth & poverty, having to claw always to keep position - the safety net is just below all, there is no overwealth to demoralise, to belittle avg returns for avg work, no poverty to have to claw away from, there are low expenses & stresses of poverty & wealth [war & crime], no overpower above to fight off
