Doubt helps us to clarify what we believe. Doubt works better at sharpening our mind than changing it. Is this one of your beliefs as it is mine?

Good question. I think when most of us have doubts, our mind is pretty well made up. Yet that can clarify the question.

By playing Devil's advocate, again, that can help clarify the questuion.

However, If one expresses doubt, honestly and with an open mind, and asks for clarification to both people's satisfaction, THAT helps clarify the answer, which usually falls between the original opinions.

I think , that means , YES. But maybe there are still some doubts in your mind????

Yes. A child will accept what he believes by simple faith, and this is great. But once that child grows up, he needs to stop drinking milk and start eating meat: meaning he needs to learn why he believes why he does. Doubts will come up with maturity no matter what.
