Man, I feel so uncomfortable after interviews, I went in for one today, and afterwards I felt everyone who looked at me's eyes. I'm about to start an office job and I don't want it to be akward between my co-workers. The thing is, I'm a nervous wreck. Even seeing people out of the corner of my eye causes me to change how I feel and my mannerisms. I'm going to be right next to beautiful women all day who can feel the tenseness in my body, plus I have to type data entry. I ate a larabar after the interview and i've been so far tonight only drinking water and eating vegetables because it calms you down, but does anyone have any tips besides all of these procautions i'm taking? The thing is, not to even be concieted but i'm beautiful too so as I left today just every single person possible is staring at me and I feel like all of my actions were under a microscope or that the people looking got uncomfortable for themselves and didn't know what to do, what do you guys recomend?

How is a daughter suppose to feel about her father that left her when she was 9yrs old and now he wants to stay with her because he has health problems and no income......She is 32yrs old with two children and single.....The father never really communicated with the daughter while she was younger. They were never close, but now that he has no other place to go to she is forced to take him in.....Because her mom seems to think she should honor thy father......She is unhappy because now she has to take care of someone whom she thinks never really gave a damm about her while she was growing up....She feels that it is unfair....He was mean to her while she was young and now he is even trying to be mean to her children......She doesn't want to put him out with no place to go....She is a good person, but she is just feeling a little uncomfortable.....need some advice....

In college I had a sense of destiny. Now I've been out of college for 5 years working a normal job. I'm married now, so I feel like my responsabilities to family and work limit how much attention I can give to my desires of wanderlust. I've always wanted to do something that would be unique, exciting and meaningful, but it seems like that only happens to the few people in the tabloids. It's always been awkward for me to be spontaneous and I've been socially inept in the past (I'm making some progress though), but deep down I'm screaming to get out of the box and live a little. I keep defeating myself though with a "this is just how life is" attitude. I feel like I've been put into a box and there's no way out. I don't want to be fifty or sixty years old with nothing worth remembering.

How can I grab back ahold of my old sense of destiny and find some fulfillment in life?

What is the necessary I.Q. to understand that you must let people get out of the train or subway train before attempting to enter?
The faster people get out, the faster people get in! SIMPLE!!!
I mean, I am not even from the city, but I was only 5 years old when first used the subway, and I only needed 2.6 seconds to realize that! And I see most grown-up people from the city doing that over and over again!!!!!!

i've had this type of dream twice [ in about a month]

someone (or some animal) is fighting/attacking me, so i fight back. i yell for the people around me to help me, but they dont. i keep fighting and then my attacker falls dead to the ground. i cant believe what i have done, feel terrible, and tell someone i know that i didnt mean to kill that him/it. then my attacker stands up, walks over to me, and starts hurting me again, and i fight back.

any sort of interpretation you can get, or whatever you think any part of this means, will be appreciated. thanks

I have a bad habit of misplacing and/or losing things. Shortly after I've given up on searching for it, I suddenly have this desire to get a better version of it! And sometimes, I really end up doing it. If I lose the better version, I want to get an even better version, and it becomes an incorrigible cycle!

Do you relate or know anyone like this? What type of behavioral complex would this fall under?

how would you change things? I would love it soo much, to go back about 4 1/2 years.. i know many things that i would do to change what has happend...
but hten i thought, witch totally crushed me that if i go back and start changing things to prevent something, other things are gonna happen, what do i do if i dont even know the person who plays he main part in why i want to go back? just call them up and have them and everyone else think i am an absolute MANIAC? it was a good thought while it lasted.. but in the end i decided i still would have gone back, would have done my best even if i looked like some psychic acting fool.. it would have been worth it, how about You?

...posts a question, they are hoping for an answer they can understand and...

Someone copies 100 lines from a website, posts it here and thinks they'll get 10 points (they don't know enough about the subject to simplify it).

Why do people do that?

Anyone have ideas of what you can do to make yourself feel like less of a shmuck when you've been rejected? There's a guy I have known for about 2 months and we seemed to really hit it off. I thought I was getting alot of signals from him that he was interested, so today I decided to go for it and tell him how I felt. Big mistake. Not only is he not interested, but he's actually involved with someone else. I honestly had no idea, because he has NEVER said a word about her and I could swear he told me early on that he wasn't seeing anyone. Anyway, needless to say, I feel like a big fat idiot. I need to get over it fast, because I'm still going to have to be around this guy all the time and I don't want to be wierd or look like a loser. Can anyone help?
