I am told that you can never tell when you are actually in a dream, but you feel as if the dream is reality - until you wake up. Well, ever since I was about 8 years old, I was able to figure out that I was actually dreaming - in mid-dream. Not too long after I figured out how to tell I was dreaming, I figured out how to "remove" myself from a dream and wake myself up - at my own will. I don't know how I do any of this, but I just do it. Some dreams it has felt like I have full conciousness during the dream and I can almost control what goes on in them. I can usually remember my dreams too - that is when they happen, because they don't occur like they used to, but I can still do all of those things. Am I mentally abnormal, or is that rule of dreams only true for most people?
