I have a bad habit of misplacing and/or losing things. Shortly after I've given up on searching for it, I suddenly have this desire to get a better version of it! And sometimes, I really end up doing it. If I lose the better version, I want to get an even better version, and it becomes an incorrigible cycle!

Do you relate or know anyone like this? What type of behavioral complex would this fall under?

I'm just the same way... my boyfriend of 4 years just dumped me (so that is my loss) and now I REALLY want a better version!

sorry I try not to lose the things that I own. Do you think maybe you lose things so you can just get something else not necessarily better but maybe because someone else has one.
