I seem to have little bits of luck, very often. Like buying something in a shop it frequently gets reduced at the till, I seem to win on scratch cards and horses fairly frequently, been lucky in my job and love too. Most things I have wanted I have achieved. I have quite a normal life but it seems that I have a bit of sparkle in it. I am born on St Patricks Day (have Irish parents) .

I am a strict skeptic, but It seems that sometimes I will think of someone whom I had all but completely forgotten about ; someone I have not thought of in months. Then I will run into that person soon afterwards. I am a strict skeptic, but it seems so odd to me when it happens. again, I don't believe in such things easily. That is why I am so surprised by this phenomenon. Anyone else have this happen?

Were we born to just grow up, go to school, get a job and work and make money. And then just use that money to buy things, to create some illusion that blinds us from the fact that our lives really don't mean much at all. Of course, we then get married, well some of us. Are they considered the lucky ones? Who knows. But is our entire purpose as human beings just to do this, and then have children. Then by the process we are to help the children do the exact same thing. I am a college student, just finished my first year, and I don't know what I am going to major in. I want to mean something in the world. I don't want to just make money and spend it. But the more I look into how the world works, what every job entails, the more I believe that all there can be to life is the cycle I mentioned above. But I can't see myself being happy that way.Everyday I feel more and more like life is pretty pointless. What do you guys think about this? Don't you ever think about this stuff?

The question about whether women prefer a large, medium, or small penis has been asked and the most common answer seems to be that it doesn't matter as long as he knows how to use it. I just wanted some pointers on how to use it. Any suggestions?

What do you think about Freud's thoughts on personality development? Do you agree that an abused child (within the first 5 years of life) will be affected later in life with their personality? What do you think on his beliefs of unconscious fears and feelings? What do you think about his psychosexual stages?

I've seen a disturbing number of posts on Yahoo answers from young teens regarding sex & suicide and other dangerous issues. How do you respond (or do you) to these posts. I try to pray for these kids, but what can you say to a teen that will make a difference? (My kids range from newborn to 7 and I'm scared to death of their approaching teen years.)

I post this in psychology because I'm curious about it from a psychological perspective. The question springs from Pascal's Wager, but it applies to many other concepts too.

So, to ask it again: if there is something that you really want to believe in, but don't believe in, is it possible to 'force' that belief? How?

Among 10 of my best pals, 3 of them still not 100% sure which is left and which is right even though they are 22 this year. Even my dad, 55, has the same problem. he can say 'left' with his finger pointing right when pin-pointing a direction. I don't think this is something to do with IQ as one of three of my best pal that having this problem is a really smart guy. Sorry for my lousy English, I failed my English Exam. I have classified this question as Science as I heard someone said before this is due to a 'failure' from the brain.
