All adults can act childish at times, but people with a short attention span, and poor emotional control do so more often.

Seems like no one wants to shoot straight from the hip but the answer is yes, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder not only causes a short attention span but it also tends to make most afflicted with it, very emotional. The tricky thing is however, it affects people differently, child and adult both. Not everyone reacts the same. I grew out of mine and have since been tested. I managed to somehow grow out of it by my mid 20's. Most don't grow out of it, it's something your born with. In fact some people may not even become affectedby it until a alter part int hier life AS adults. There's so much still unknown about this disease that infact they still aren't down to an exact science on how to treat it and over medicating patients tends to be a overly abundant problem. Also people tend to be misdiagnosed with it, a study in a New York public school showed that a doctor had overdiagnosed people on a regular basis to the point each classroom on average had 6-8 ADHD diagnosed children. This obviously wound up disputed and it was proven that many children were misdiagnosed and some infact were perefctly healthy normal children. As adults we are more disciplined, making ADHD harder to detect by the untrained eye. Some do act childish, most generaly don't, each case has a different level of severity.
