How about given-names//; in adition to the odd surnames?
Down here, in Texas, there are quite a few weird ones:
Ima (yep, there Was an Ima Hogg).. there was NO Ura Hogg, though! Their daddy was the owner of the Piggly-Wiggly grocery stores; people used to joke and call them Hoggly-Woggly"..
Then, there's the other grocer, H.E. Butts... Yes, his first name is Harold.. so, it's Harry Butts; Owner/founder of the Huge Texas grocery conglomerate: H.E.B.... (we call it the 'heb".. short like in Hebrew)..
Don't know what it is about odd names and groceries but they do seem to go together well down here!

Dr. Small-Dick

This lady who is a lawyer who was Miss I. Small was married to a medical doctor Dr. D. Dick... when they got married, as a sentiment, they both shared the name, thus becoming:

Mrs. I Small-Dick, and Dr. D. Small-Dick (which seemed liked The Small Dick). I rolled out my seat, cause thats weird.

What about Mrs. A. Shette (pronounce, and you know what I mean).
