I have read about the effects sonar has on whales and dolphins but can find little information about effects (if any) on other marine life and the marine ecosystem as a whole. Any ideas?

I was trying to figure out if "humanity" lived up to scrutiny. Are humans the only creature that do things like free an animal that may bite us, etc? Examples: a dog freeing a stranger from a trap, a monkey freeing a snake.

I once found what I think its a spider that had its legs sideways, walked sideways and was flat. The color was a brownish-orange, a little bit hairy, the number of legs was between 6 and 8. I've searched for crab spiders but none fit the profile, found it on the beach really extrange looking thing... Any info is helpful

Yes we do.

But say if a mosquito or cockroach are about to be extinct, would we take it seriously? Surely we don't like these insects so much, so would we care if they are extinct or not?
