Last night I saw this little grey owl fly in and perch on my telephone wire. It was only about 5-6 inches high when perched. I live in Berkley Michigan and have never seen anything like this around the house. Does anyone have any information about what kind it might have been?

I'm a helo pilot and land off-airport somewhat frequently. I thought if this were true it would help my situational awareness. Thanks in advance! :) BTW I live in the desert so cows are more prevalant than say a body of water :)

Sloths have the cutest little faces... but algae grows in the pores alongside their fur. YUK!

Has anyone else gone off sloths after hearing that?!

I'm in this class and I DESPERATELY need it. The teacher is really heartless. I bought the book used online and it didn't come with the CD-Rom or access code or password. Does anyone out there have the book that they can give me their access code and password PLEASE?!?! It is the biology book 7th edition by Neil Campbell and Jane Reece. It's the black book with the orange side. I'm not a thief or anything like that. I just really want to pass this class so that I won't fail.
