Primates probably evolved from shrew-like insectivores 65 million years ago.

The excepted theory in evolution is that all mammals came from a mammalian like reptile called the cynadont. However, I don't believe this part of evolution, as it's more plausible to consider that many mammalian like reptiles went through similar evolutionary changes.
