ok... say i hooked an electrical generator up to a motor so that the motor would spin the generator to make electricity... now say i made it so that the electricity output from the generator powered the motor and then this would just go on and on and on... is that perpetual motion?

if the power output wouldnt be enough to power the motor to make the machine go forever, then couldn't you just do that thing where you put a small gear next to a big gear, and then the small gear spins really fast?

have people done this before? i mean... if it works then why wouldn't we use this to power the world!!! like gosh!!! one for each house (or 10 whatever it takes..) i mean free power!!! (if it works)

Looking for an optical element that performs the same function as polarized film, except either direction of polarization is electrically controlled, or its polarization can be turned on and off (then I could just use two of them to get the same effect). I thought I heard of something like that - similar to an lcd in concept.

it can be found in the church and market, but never in a temple.and museum..it is there one step before the exit of all cemeteries...and it is a fact that without this there are no president, senators, legislators, councilors and clerks.

The empiricist turn in modern science has subverted the semantics of "time" to refer to measurable phænomena and relativity in particular holds it to be a progression of electromagnetic mutations but do the arguments for the reality of The Twin Paradox have any traction for sub-nuclear interactions? If so, what is the proof? All the lines of reasoning I’ve encountered speak only electromagnetic stasis for preserving the twin who’s in motion (or else epistemic illusions in obtaining information). If not, there would be a physical exception to demonstrate that the way Einstein uses “time” is not what we mean by the word in English. It's not. Modern science also abuses the way we use words like "space" and "universe," too, but society has ceded the power to fix their definitions to that field. Were there a natural clock that’s immune to “time-dilation” then there’d be an observable counter-example which would beat ‘em at their own game.

How do I find the acceleration of Pluto towards the sun if I have the mass of pluto ( 1.196 x 10^23 kg) it's orbital radius from the sun ( 5913.5 x 10^8 m) and it's planet radius ( 1.65 x 10^6).

Sun's mass: 2 x 10^30 kg
Sun's radius: 696 x 10^6

Two carts on a level track collide head-on. After the collision, cart 1 is completely at rest, and cart 2 has reversed direction. Which cart’s momentum changed by the greatest amount during the collision? Or did both carts’ momentum change by the same amount? Explain.

A landing craft is attempting to land on an unexplored planet in a distant solar system. As it nears the planet's surface, slowing down at a rate of 3.21 m/s2, its rocket engines provide an upward thrust force of 87.4 kN (kilonewtons). The craft's mass is 4480 kg. Calculate
(a) the local free-fall acceleration rate (g)
(b) the engine thrust that would be necessary for the craft to descend at a constant speed

so there are 2 main types of A bombs right? hydrogen and uranium (and plutonium 2 right?)

well do they work on the opposite principle? an h bomb works the same as the sun right? it ruses 2 (or 4 like the sun?) hydrogens together and releases energy. so a uranium bomb splits uranium atoms right? because to fuse any atoms above iron requires enerygy, so spliting them would release it, right?

just wondering.

A student wants to determine gravity, so he drops a ball and records the time of fall.
Data:
Distance(m): 0.10 0.50 1.0 1.7 2.0
Time(s): 0.14 0.32 0.46 0.59 0.63
If only distance and time are used, what quantities should the student graph in order to produce a linear relationship between the two quantities? Also, how can I find the acceleration using the data I already have? please help!
Any information would be helpful. If you give a website, please be specific as to where I can find help for this problem.
