Hello, im having great difficulty on this question, ive done A - D but can't do the last 2 E and F, any help/advice or links would be great!

A flywheel has a mass of 225kg and rotates at 3000 revs per minute in a pair of 120mm diameter bearings, with a coefficient of friction of 0.032.
Calculate :
a)The load on each bearing.
b)The frictional force exerted on each bearing
c)The work done per minute in overcoming friction
d)The total power Consumed per minute in overcoming friction.
The flywheel takes 30 seconds to reach the angular velocity stated. Calculate
e) The average angular acceleration
f) The linear distance that a point on the flywheel would travel in that time

A)
F = mg = 225 x 9.81 = 2207.25N
2207.25/2 = 1103.625N

b) = m x mg (m = 0.032)
= 0.032 x 1103.625
= 35.316N

c) Work done = Force x Distance
In one revolution – 35 x πD
= 35.316 x π x 0.12
= 13.31
At 3000rpm = 13.31 x 3000
= 39941.45 n/m

d) Power = 39941.45/60
= 665.6pw

I am looking for any scientific companies/businesses/industries in and around the Oxford area which I can approach to get work experience at for throughout this summer. Physics based would be most preferred. Does anyone know any without me randomly searching the internet to try and find some?

most obvious effect of gravity - things falling down - can be eliminated by making the transition to a reference frame that is in free fall, and that in such a reference frame, the laws of physics will be approximately the same as in special relativity.

could this mean that stimulating a past event can bring you the same experience in the past, as if you were experiencing it again?

I know that the Higgs mechanism is intended to confer mass, but general relativity included mass through the stress-energy tensor as a fundamental constituent of the theory.

Any theory that supercedes general relativity has to include all that general relativity had to say it just seems weird that mass seems to be almost an afterthought in current efforts to find a theory of everything.

whereas after a good rain when humidity is actually very high people seldom say that a humid day...yes it is correct that high temperature causes greater evaporation and that vapour increases humidity content of the local atmosphere ...but from my standpoint degree of humidity in this case will never be greater than the degree of humidity after a heavy rain .

An 84-ohm resistor has a current of 0.62 A and is connected in series with a 130-ohm resistor. What is the emf of the battery to which the resistors are connected?

The answer is 130 V, but what is the solution? Coz I always get something like 133.6.

Here, the current flowing through the 8.45 ohms ressitor is 1.22 A.

What is the voltage through the battery?

I got 10.306 and the book says that the answer should be 103.6.

What is constant in this type of problem, the current or the voltage?
