Geophysics is all about the dynamical processes within the earth. Dynamical means stuff that moves (if only very slowly like sedimentation), so the world definitely needs more songs about it. Here's some processes (and relevant words that rhyme): earth quakes (really makes), volcanoes (nobody knows), plate tectonics (hooked on phonics), mantle convection (sublime perfection) , oil formation (to the gas station), geomagnetism (lost in forest prison). Have fun, and let us know what you come up with.
