what i mean by that is...I was watching a video in chemistry called Kaboom! and it said at the end, "Will one of these days we invent something that we wish had never been discovered" something along those lines. but you see where i am going. Afterwhich my friend will and i had a conversation about this startling video. We all have heard of the Nuclear Bomb. We are all familiar with its Devastating Effects, i mean just go look on google images and that can even convey the hell it creates. So lets say that a nuclear bomb is...50% energy and the rest is shrapnel and buildings blowing apart creating more flying debris. Now you are wondering "what the hell? 50%? NO, it has to be more than that..." But how much more. Well thats not my point here. So will brings up the idea of the Meeting of Antimatter with Matter which will supposedly be 100% efficient, or 100% energy...100% energy is something i shutter to think about when you consider the condition the earth is in in relation to wars....

We had this on our exam. A propane cylinder contains liquid propane and when that escapes it goes into gas state. In normal cases liquid -> gas is endothermic, but this is more complex. The gas would escape and lose temperature (get colder) and the inside of the cylinder would lose pressure, correct? Wouldn't this be more of an equilibrium thing? Is it endothermic or exothermic at all? Please many details and citation so I can argue it to my teacher.

Ijay, I just got Physics for Dummies and the book lists the Stefan-Boltzmann constant as 5.67*10^-8 J[s-m^2-K^4] when everywhere else on the internet it says: The value of σ is 5.670 400(40)×10−8 W·m^-2·K^-4? The first one is in Joules, the one on Wikipedia and everywhere else is in Watts. What's wrong here? Is it just in 2 different units? Thanks.

I have a question:

If an object is sliding on the earths surface:

and slows down due to kinetic friction, and only the object is
taken as the system, the kinetic force is taken as the external force.

But if both the aerth and the object are taken as a system, is the kinetic force an external or internal force?

Can the frictional force change the momentum of the two body system?

I was in a car accident from a driver doing a 180 across the freeway and entering my lane then shortly thereafter I was rear-ended. It was totally unavoidable.
Im trying to remember which car caused me to move forward etc.. from all the force built up. I think i went forward and my knees hit the dash after hitting the first car and then got whiplash and other injuries from getting rear-ended.
Can someone please help explain or give a resource on where to look up basic laws of motion on this? thanks
