I need help with these questions:

> A bullet is fired with an initial muzzle velocity of 500 ms^-1

a) Calculate the kinetic energy of the bullet if it has a mass of 20 grams.

b) The bullet penetrates a glass windows and is slowed down by 200 ms^-1. Calculate the residual kinetic energy and the energy that was used to break the glass.

c) What principle did you employ to calculate the energy that must have been used to break the glass?

Thank You.

Why is it that when we solve an equation for throwing a ball into the air, that when the ball is going up it is regarded as negative and when it is going down it is regarded as positive.

Thank You

Suppose a baseball is shot up from the ground straight up with an initial velocity of 64 feet per second. A function can be created by expressing distance above the ground, s, as a function of time, t. This function is s = -16t2 + v0t + s0
• 16 represents 1/2g, the gravitational pull due to gravity (measured in feet per second2).
• v0 is the initial velocity (how hard do you throw the object, measured in feet per second).
• s0 is the initial distance above ground (in feet). If you are standing on the ground, then s0 = 0.
a) What is the function that describes this problem?

b) The ball will be how high above the ground after 1 second?

c) How long will it take to hit the ground?

d) What is the maximum height of the ball? What time will the maximum height be attained?

and never mention the 5th (Dimensional travel possible) and 6th (Time & Dimensional Travel possible) dimensions where it would be possible.
of course 4 dimensional time travel is impossible. it doesn't have the extra dimension required for quantum and temporal incursions to occur.
are all humans this stupid when it comes to talking about time travel. can't they visualize the time stream and the multiverse.

yes Humans are only 4th dimension but is it all that hard to wrap your head around 2 extra dimensions of time. if you want I can even post my temporal maps.
back to the future even used a 5th dimensional space time map (extremely simplified). and that was a movie.

1)Which of Newton's laws explains why a person must hold on to some part of the interior of a bus, as it accelerates away from a stop?
Answer: Inertia ?

2) Inertia is said to be a property of all matter. Describe what is meant by the property of inertia?

3) When you lean on a tabletop, you are applying a force to it . What does Newton's third law suggest about the response of the tabletop?

4) When we push on a mass , what determines how fast it moves off, and whether it moves off?

5) Complete this sentence:
All bodies maintain there state of motion unless.............

Does heat require a medium to travel? If it does, then how does it travel from sun to us? if space is filled up with some kind of matter that acts as an conductor for heat, why does the sky appear dark at nights, as the matter should scatter light? Or is it that we haven't yet researched too much on it?
