The problem goes as follows:

A particle of mass 'm' moves along a circle of radius 'R' with a normal acceleration varying with time as a=k(t^2), where k is a constant. find the time dependence of the power developed by all the forces acting on the particle, and the mean value of this power averaged over the first 't' seconds of motion.

I've tried a lot but in vain. can anyone help me solve it? please explain how you solve this kind of problems. i'm a beginner to high school physics.

i said that you can't pass your finger through a table or something solid because the atoms are so tight togeter, and that its like when you get two magnets, and try to touch negative with negative, you can't right...and i said its because of physics, and the people who were there said,"no its chemistry" and they started laughing at me, i want to know if its physics or chemistry, i apologize for my ignorance

This post needs to be one and one half inches square. The wall thickness can vary and so can the minimum yield strength. The minimum yield strength I am working with is 50,0000 psi. I prefer to stick with this if possible. The post will be securely attached at the base and will be cantilevered out six feet. This post needs to hold at least 260 pounds without bending. What wall thickness do I need for this post? What is the formula to determine this?

You can take into account place of landing (pavement, dirt, etc..). Also from what height can a human survive falling into a body of water? Can you jump from a plane into the ocean and survive? Again factor in all variables: Speed, entry into water, falling techniques (spread eagle, or the bullet formation). I'm just curious.

I've read a few books, but none of which said there is an existing answer for this...

A bucket filled with water hangs on a string. When nothing moves the water is flat. The bucket starts spinning, water is still flat. Water catches up in speed, water starts to funnel out. Bucket stops spinning, water keeps spinning and is still funneling.

Ok, so if you're still with me....
when nothing moves, relative to each other neither the water nor the bucket are moving. and the water is flat. however, when both are moving, they are not moving relative to each other, but the water is funneling (forms a cone)

On the second case. When the bucket starts spinning, it IS moving relative to the water, but the water is flat. But when the bucket stops, it STILL IS moving relative to the water, but the water is funnelled.

If everything is relative, what are these two things moving relative to, it can't be one another. Can it?

Riddle me that. Thanks

All three boxes are made from the same material. Explain at the molecular/atomic level how heat is transferred from box A to Box C. Estimate the final temperature of Boxes A,B and C. What law is this process describin? State the Law.

I'm curious about how these work but I don't know much about Quantum Mechanics. I checked Wikipedia, but the info on there assumes you have a base understanding of Quantum Mechanics.

Can anyone explain these things in laymans terms without using a lot of technical lingo? Or is it simply not possible to understand these concepts without first understanding Quantum Mechanics?

In movies and comics, we often see a digital image of a person dancing on the screen asking for help.

If it was to be made possible in real life- how would you do it?
