Some people said that ECR is more applicable to the case while the uppermost layer is of metal; on the other hand, ICP is used while the uppermost layer is of dielectric. Besides that, if correct, is there any other difference between them for the etching application?

Why is Thermal expansion of three types,ie.Linear expansion,Superficial expansion & Cubical expansion. It should be cubical all the time as when a body (of any state) is heated,its molecules gain Kinetic Energy and move in all directions. Thus, the object should increase in size by all directions.Please send me your opinions.

Ok, so the intensity of light from a central source varies inversely as the square of the distance. So if you lived on a planet only half as far from the sun as our earth, then how would the light intensity on that planet compare with that on earth? And how would it compare to a planet ten times farther away than the earth?
