My father-in-law, expert of all things, has said that ethanol is used for cars in Brazil and accounts for most energy needs in Brazil.

Does anyone really believe we were once apes! How come only humans can talk, how come we're so weak? Why would a species evolve interlectually for the good, yet physically for the worse?If theres still apes today are we supposed to also believe that in 5 or so million years us homo-sapiens will evolve into something else. In that future time will there be human specimens that havn't evolved and look just like us today? If todays Apes didn't evolve it goes to reason all of us won't either! If its a very gradual transission over millions of years where are all the half man, half ape creatures? What came first, the standing on two legs or the talking? Forgive the sarcasm but I actually do believe in Darwins theory, only take mankind out of it and everything fits in. We are the only Aliens of this planet. As we dumped our prisoners at Bottany Bay, it is my belief that the first humans on earth were transported here from a World light years away. We are now evolving, from Caveman, not Ape!

Me and a friend saw one a couple of weeks ago. We were looking at the stars, when the stars I was seeing disappeared behind a large black triangle shaped object with faint white lights that did not blink on each corner. It was large, but made no noise. It slowly moved across the north central Washington night sky.

I for one am leaning more towards the idea that it was a test flight of a stealth bomber, but then again who knows.

Has anybody else seen anything like this? or have anymore info on black triangle ufo's?

Evolution is kind of a messed up theory.

My question is that if living things evolved from primal ooze that spontaneously came to life, would the living organisms be able to survive during the process of evolving?

Usually scientists say that the evolution process takes millions of years right? Well I want to know, how can the species survive with and evolving organ?

Take a look at humans - or even four-legged creatures, insects, etc. If their sophisticated internal and external systems needed to evolve to survive like they do today, how can they survive during the evo process?

Seeing how sophisticated our systems are, they need to exist immideately in order for us to even have a chance at life!!!!

Wouldn't the sunlight heat up the blinds as much at it would hitting the floor instead. Doesn't the heat from the blinds keep the room the same temp?

that, due to some of the stupendously stupid questions and answers on this particular section of the site, that we should remove safety labels off things and not allow any litigation on any part and just let stupid people sort thermselsves out?

I'm all for asking questions if you don't know something, but if you choose to ignore the basic fundamentals of science just so you can try and cook up an answer to support your own idotic version of science then do it elsewhere. Examples that i have seen are people ignoring Newtons laws of motion, one guy stating that the moon was an optical illusion. One particular user stated we should have a report stupidity button as well, which I'm all for.

How can we advance as a species if we still have the "I'll just keep smoking while I fill up my car" brigade knocking around. I think the darwin awrads may be on to something here, they should be celebrated like the oscars. Sorry, I'm tired and a little hacked off with stupidity at the moment.
