not sure if there is one but....it would seem that all humans will evolve out of their hair...doesn't really serve a purpose...other then the hair in our nose and ears

the reason we have hair is to protect ourselves against cold.
people who lose their hair usually lose it after 30 years old
and they can start to reproduce around 15.

This gives the people who lose their hair a LOT of time to reproduce before losing their hair, catching a cold and dieing from it.

That's why losing our hair hasn't been rejected by evolution. Not because it's better, but because it's not too bad: gives enough time to reproduce.

Natural selection doesn't select the "best" possible species... it only kills off those who can't survive long enough to give birth. But don't worry, that's a common misunderstanding

The effect is most common in men who are well past the stone age life expectancy of 30 years. Past the point where a man would have fathered children so it couldn't have an impact on mate selection.

Evolution explains long term changes. Even old animals lose their hair or fur. This is primarily used it the case of animals for insulation and in many including humans for social reasons like mate selection.

Once we are past our reproductive prime, there is no sense in continuously recharging the hair.

So have you ever ever spotted how females seem extra like youngsters than guys do? You recognize... better eyes relative to their face, smoother, rounder foreheads, smaller noses, etc. Sure there are exceptions, however quite often that is the case. Anyway, the medical time period for it's paedomorphy., which interprets to "baby variety." So what is long past on this is that men have "decided on" for really juvenile watching females. That is... we decide on them that method. Who is aware of why...? Some humans have argued that it is since it stimulates the constituents of our brains that purpose us to desire to handle juveniles (youngsters). So females advantage in the event that they seem really juvenile, since men are then extra keen to maintain them (furnish meals, security, and so on.). So here is the bit approximately hair... If you are making a choice on for juvenile tendencies (like facial points), then you are going to get them in ladies that extend sexual adulthood really early. ...that's, that quit developing earlier than obtaining really male-watching foreheads etc. And due to the fact frame hair (and in certain chest hair) develops alternatively overdue in sexual adulthood, then the absence of chest hair in ladies will also be easily a byproduct of choice for facial points. In different phrases... no intent always, only a byproduct of different matters. Alternatively, it might moderately be that chest hair sends a robust sign of adulthood (loss of juvenile reputation), and for that reason is acted on straight via men as good.
