The site http://www.forbiddenarcheology.com suggests that there are counter-evolution archaeological discoveries being made, and also being covered up by the scientific community. I'm curious to hear what people think of this site, if it's legit or if the data presented here is flawed. Regardless of your view of evolution, it's interesting reading. For instance, according to the site:

"...in 1913 when Professor Hans Reck, of Berlin University, found a human skeleton in the upper part of Bed II at Olduvai Gorge, Tanzania. Modern dating methods give a late Early Pleistocene date of around 1.15 million years for this site. Reck said, "The bed in which the human remains were found....showed no sign of disturbance."

So what does that mean? How could human remains be found at a site dated over a million years old?

I mean, religion is the belief that things were created by a higher power. But scientist believe in evolution. So can you be a scientist and a christian at the same time?

This question was not meant to offend anyone, sorry if it did.

Just curious about the spiritual world. Ive been seeing in my dreams lately what life is like to be truely alone and no one even seeing me.
Ive had a few mini strokes or at least I think they were all while I was sleeping. Some days I dont wake up till 4:30 p.m. after going to bed at 10:00 pm the day before.

I'm talking about sci-fi and fantasy vernacular. The one example that sticks out is the TV show "Angel"--the term "Hell dimension" would pop up every week or so. Is a 'dimension' the same as a 'universe' in this sense?

In recent years science stories, documentaries and books seem to be more basic or undeveloped in intent and somewhat sarcastic in tone. Should some recent general science books be taken off bookshelves to be replaced with perhaps books regarding the history of science - essentially books that inspire instead of providing haphazard analysis based on TV documentaries and theories driven by left field discontent within the academy.

Does the Earth's orbit change? If so, how? Can this effect electronic equipment? I had some problems with a CD recorder (stereo component) last night in which the recorder wouldn't start up properly- like reading a CD that wasn't in the tray and displaying a message- 'reading' but it just hung there. Also, the trays would not open.
A couple friends of mine blame it on electro-magnetic fields due to the earth's orbit changing. I personally think it's on the fritz and probably needs to be fixed, but I always try to consider all possibilities. So could they be correct? I turned on the recorder this morning and it did work properly!!!!! What's up with that?
