It depends on which bull and which bear.
The Spanish bulls are very fast on their feet and last time I looked a Koala bear only mauls Eucalyptus trees.

However, if we're talking about a Brahman Bull (The White ones with the hump-usually fairly docile) and a Polar bear, I think the bear would win. Especially as they're the kind of bear that will have a go at killing a whale. A beluga whale, granted, but a whale never the less.

I can think of several other possibilities, but until there are some parameters it's difficult to say.
Add some details and I'll decide who to put my money on.

Aha! The extra details have made up my mind - the Grizzly gets my vote! Have you seen the size of those things? Some of them are about as large as a bull. The other thing going for the bear is that they are surprisingly quick on their feet and the bull is potential food. Never underestimate what an animal will do for food.
Bears also have this neat trick of tripping things up, once the bull is down it's adios.

The bear, unless the bull got in a lucky headbutt and ripped out it's guts.
I have a better one, which I have wondered about for years:
A grizzly bear or a silverback Gorilla?

Depends on the stock market. Some days the bull and some days the bear.

I think there are a variety of factors to consider... My initial thought is the bear, however, are we talking about a female bear or a male bear? If we are talking about a female bear, then does she have cubs to feed. Then there is the matter of diplomacy and whether or not there is a mediator involved...

the bear will win, he would be more flexible and alot stronger, the bull really only has 1 sorce of weapon and it is his horns which a bear could probably rip off his head.

Bears are probably stronger and they're more dextrous. plus, they have teeth AND claws. Bullonly have their horns.
Ergo, the bear wins.
