This one takes another picture:
There are 12 toothpicks making four squars. 4 toothpicks to make a cross and 8 toothpicks surround it in taking a shape of a big square. How do you have only two squares left and only take out 2 toothpicks? (If you take a random 2 I know you would have techinically have 2 squares but you would still have some remaining sticks. Also if you took a middle 2 toothpicks you would have two rectangles and square can be rectangles but rectangles can't be squares.)
