I did the problem and came out to -6.. but my friend says it is incorrect.. so could you show me the work.. i can come up with the answer..

a lake covers 928 acres w/ an avg depth of 17 ft. estimate the # of cubic feet of water in the lake. if 1 cubic ft = 7.48 gallons, approximate the # of gallons of water in the lake.

i know i have to convert using 1 acre=43,560 squared ft.

we're still doing this review thing and, once again, i have forgotten something i learned years ago. (i always seem to forget the simplest things)
ok. so how do i find the maximum area for a given perimeter of a rectangle? i need to state the length and width of the rectangle. i need to do it for the following:

- 25 mm
-18 yards
-42 cm

but if you could breifly/simply walk me through it to refresh my memory, that'd be great too.

I don't mind learning algebra and calculus I just do think I should get failed just because I don't do it right a couple of times.I mean do u even use it like when u go to the store no. Then again I wouldn't really know about spending money cause I'm broke.
