If anyone could help me find information or pictures dealing with the structural design and architecture of the Petronas Towers. Or if anyone could help tell me about all the geometry in the Petronas towers. I'm not having much luck finding much info on the web, and I want to check out books but they're all gone. I need help!

I need to see a circuit that can do this at high frequencies like 13.56 m hz. Preferably a simple circuit. I hope it can be done with an op amp or transistors.

Consumer fireworks contain a maximum of 1.5 grams of fireworks. I was wondering, in comparison, about how much firepower is this. I know it is a minimal amount.

When people talk about the electric motor, why talking about nominal power and peak power? and they are all "power", why makes a difference?

And what is "phase inductance" and why is the rotor posistion so important?
Thanks~

i want to design something that can measure the distance of an oblect using a microcontroller. what i have thought of is .. when i press a button a pin of the micrcontroller(uC) will go high. this will lead to the transmission of the ultrasonic waves from the transmitter. at the same time i will start a counter in the microcontroller which wil increase every micro second. when the receiver gets the reflected signal it make one pin high or rather input some signal to the micrcontroller. when the uC receives this signal the counter will stop and a distance will be calculated based on that counter value.

can anyone please tell me wether this thing will work or not.. also i want to know how to generate soun waves from that transmitter.. will it just start signalling them as soon as give them the required voltage? .. also what happens when the receiever gets those waves?.. is there any voltage difference or something like that...

any help will be greatly appreciated

___a. 40 Hz
___b. 3KHz
___c. Both frequencies will produce the same signal level at the base

In Figure P20.63, the rolling axle, 1.50 m long, is pushed along horizontal rails at a constant speed v = 8.00 m/s. A resistor R = 0.402 is connected to the rails at points a and b, directly opposite each other. (The wheels make good electrical contact with the rails, so the axle, rails, and R form a closed-loop circuit. The only significant resistance in the circuit is R.) A uniform magnetic field B = 0.1200 T is directed vertically downwards.

(a) Find the induced current I in the resistor.
A
(b) What horizontal force is required to keep the axle rolling at constant speed?
N

I am a 3rd yr. COE and i want to begin making my thesis as early as now.. I plan to make Robotical Arms with the ability of changing its gear on different types with different kinds of function but my idea doesn't stops here because i am thinking of making an arms for mainly using lasers and together with it's security parameters to avoid accidents..This arm i want to make is mainly for dissecting very delicate stuffs "with" accuracy and efficiency.. of coarse, what i am thinking needs a long time of planning thats why i prefer on starting now..

Guys... Engineers and Non Engineers..
1.) What do you guys advice me as early as now.
2.) And is it possible that i could buy laser(real lasers which burns to dissect ) on the market with a affordable price or i should even make my own???

Please Help me Guys, I really want to achieve this.

Hi, I am building a remote controlled car type thing (it uses the chassis from one) and I would like to add some kind of wireless video thing onto it.

What I mean is, this thing is remote controlled, and I would like to be able to see where it is going without having to go there myself, so what could I use.

It would need to be battery powered and maybe sent what is seeing back to some kind of screen or laptop. How would I do something like this?

Also, not to expensive please, I would be bying two!
