The cover that goes over the outside of the heat pump is an inch or more thick of white ice. All the way to the bottom on 2 1/2 sides. On the inside where the fan is; everything is fine. The fan has been running for several days. Non stop.
Does the ice on the outside bother the operation of the unit?

I'm trying to wire up a dual display pyrometer as an exhaust gas temperature (EGT) gauge. It needs to meter 1200F (~600C) to about 2000F (~1100C) and be able to be permanently attached to the exhaust.

an engineer student has been given the assignment of designing a hydraulic holding system for a hay baling system. the system has four cylinders with 120 mm diameter pistons with a stroke of .320meters. th elines connecting the system are 1 cm inside diameter. there are 15.5 meters of lines in the system. for proper design the reserve tank should hold a minimum of 50 percent more than the amount of hydraulic fluid in the system. if the diameter of the reserve tank is 30.48 cm, whatis the shortest height it should be?

ive just bought a instant water heater the type you get in pub toilets, any way ive just realised it is the 7kw version that runs of 400 volts, the problem is my power supply is only 230 volts
was wondering if i connected it too my power supply would it run of 230 v or would this cause a overload and be potentially dangerous??????
