Please tell me about the various oppurtunities available for both branches.Jobs, further studies,et al.Some people said that mechatronics is a narrow field for study at the undergrad level. Is this true? Also, does it incorporate topics of study of both electronics and mechanical engineering or just an overview of both.I'm just afraid that if it includes only overviews I'll end up not knowing both of them. Please tell me which branch is better.

What is the techincal term for a knob that won't screw on straight. I am correcting an article for a non-native english speaker who works for a bike-part engineering company. He has a knob that screws onto a thread (part of a suspension system) but as there is a problem with the part the knob does not screw on evenly... what is the technical term for this?
