hello. i'm in the midst to register my second yr courses and i want to study geology. however, physics was not a requirement in my first year, but somehow i think it is very important. since i'm running out of time, i hope you guys can advise whether to take physics or not. here's the detail about the physics course i would like to take: topics include mechanics, waves, electricity and magnetism, fluid flow, thermal physics, and elements of wave-particle duality. so, does these topics relevant in becoming a successful petroleum geology??? many thanks
