I need to write a 700 word account that speculates what might happen to the four Earth systems if the heat loss from inside the Earth reduced by half. the account will need to explain:what the four earth systems are, how the systems interact with each other , what might happen to each system in this scenario and how likely this scenario is. You can either use the numbered referenced system or the 'Bradshaw et al 1998'type of system with an individual reference to each citation in the reference list.

Can anyone help with this. Can anyone some a useful link. Or share his own knowledge with me please. Specially on numbered referenced system .. Plz help

Quick question for all you Kiwi's out there. My fiancee' and I are planning on moving out there in 4 years and something came to my attention. With all this talk on global warming, scientists have shown that if half of antartica and half of greenland melt, the sea level will rise 20ft. I'm curious to know what the sea level of new Zealand is and where I could find a map of it. I want to know how that will effect your beautiful country. Next question..
I'm from the U.S. and I'm well aware of Super Volcanoes. I passively watched a documentary on one such volcano in New Zealand a while back and was curious to know its validity as well. Which valcano is it? When is it due to erupt? Thank you.

There was a Hokkaido earthquake around 11:20 p.m. Japan time on July 16 -- earlier in the day, there was one in Niigata which was quite destructive. Was the Hokkaido earthquake related to that, or pretty much a seperate event?

Also, where does one go on the internet to find news about very recent earthquakes in Japan? I know the TV stations broadcast info about earthquakes and tsunami, but if I miss the announcement, I've been having a hard time finding the right words to put in the search engine. Japanese sites are OK.

BTW, I tried USGS, but they didn't have it right away.

Rather than spending money to further reduce gas emissions from their power stations, the Dutch government has decided to spend $35 million on reduction of sulfur emissions in neighbouring Poland and $300 million in tropical countries to plant new trees in areas where the trees have been felled. Why did the government make this decision?

the Galapagos Islands, a famous group ofislands due to the visit by Charles Darwin aboard the HMS Beagle in the1830s. What about these islands caused Charles Darwin to be convinced life must evolve by natural selection?

a. Many of the animals on the Galapagos Islands were very similar to
animals seen on the South American coast and their only differences
seemed to be those that had to exist to survive on an island.
b. The life span of most animals on the Galapagos Islands are so short,
Darwin could watch changes in each generation.
c. The Galapagos Islands were unique in the fact no humans had ever
visited them and Darwin could see nature at its essence.
d. Charles Darwin noticed the animals must have evolved independently
from all other species on Earth because no similar animals or plants
could be found anywhere else on Earth.
