I'm not sure. I'd really like to find out. It was growing in the garden in my front yard (in West Virginia) over the summer. It had a dark purple, spikey bulb thing on top with leaves around the bottom of the bulb. I can't really remember if they were poking outward or wrapping around it..
It was a really sturdy flower with a thick stem. It smelled nice too. Personally, I thought it smelled like grapes. Idk how relevent that would be though.

Thanks for any help.<3

If some sequoia trees can live to be 2000 years old, why is it that they have never been in a forest fire in 2000 years? Do they have some flame retardent properties or something?

Lately I got a very unique plant but I have no idea what it is. Actually it looks pretty "normal", big leafs, green but a bit red. The special thing is the reproduction. It produces big seeds and shoots them. I wonder where it gets the power, because it really hurts when that plant shoots at you and its' so load when it shoots at a wall or at my window.
When you put the seeds in soil, a new palnt grows, obviosly.
I just want to know the name. Does anybody know it?
Thank you!
