What is the difference between Tendrils and Clasping roots?

Clasping roots are roots that plants use to climb. I guess the most commonly seen ones are on ivy ... they cling to walls so effectively that they leave marks when pulled off.

Tendrils are indeed twining organs that help plants climb. They can be modified stems (see pic of passionflower [unfortunately they cut the leaf off, so you can't see clearly that the tendril is a modified axillary branch]) or leaflets (example: the vetch -- see pic at link showing that the terminal 3 leaflets have become tendrils)
