And would it be possible to make a cigarette that is safe to use?

I have never observed banana seeds. Not even letting the bananas in the plant after they are ripe.
By experience I know that banana plants are multiplied by taking the newborn plantlets that multiply near the roots of the "mother" and planting them somewhere else. Banana plants fructify only once. They are usually cut after harvest. Then one of the "sons" takes the place of the removed one.
That is the case also for the "bread fruit" tree. No seeds in the fruit. Same procedure: "sons" are removed to multiply the plants.
