Okay

It says that some bears have orange noses. 64 out of 100 births have orange noses. The orange nose gene is recessive. There are 7357 bears in Aust., compute the gene frequency of the normal gene and the orange gene. How may koala bears posses the orange gene?

I just thought it would be a .64 frequency for orange, .36 for normal....

then i just multiplied .64 by 7357 to get 4708.48 orange possessors. is this right?

Throughout the many thousands of years of our species evolution, presumably we wouldn't have frequently encountered & consumed alcohol. Why then have our bodies evolved to be able to extract energy from it? I also read that we can obtain more energy from it per unit weight than sugars.
Are the liver enzymes that metabolise alcohol the same ones which metabolise sucrose/fructose? Is alcohol classed as a carbohydrate like sugar?
(I have never studied chemistry or biology).

In our society today not many people believe that cloning is ethical. Im doing a research paper for one of my english classes. What i want to know is what do you think about cloning? Do you think it should happen? Do you think that it will be beneficial to our society? If the world would end today and scientists had found a way for us to live on mars, the only problem is, is that we would have to be cloned, would you do it or would you stay and die with the world? Do any of you know where i can find some web sites to get more research on the subject of Cloning?
