Is it true that kids can be born with their DNA as a girls DNA is matched and have the body as a boy. Just wondering b/c I have kind of heard about it before. But i am not completely sure if it is true. Also could they be a boy like have the DNA as a boy and the body and then the Chromosomes split and re-attach to make a girl DNA but the boy still has the body.

Psychological concepts pertaining to depersonalization, social learning theory, thru manifestations of psychopathy can partially explain this. I feel that these types of notions can explain why and how we are equipped with the emotion empathy and how we can disengage from a violent image that might invoke this emotion.

Beyond this, though: are there specific biological explanations that can explain why some individuals are thrilled, or otherwise get excited by violent imagery, while others tend to feel squimish??

I have this pool in my backyard. It's been polluted with gulf water (from past hurricanes) and sand and dirt for well over a year now. Recently, we've noticed that there seems to be some kind of reptile floating in our water.

It looks almost exactly like a common, medium-sized, skinny, dark brown lizard. It floats on the surface of the water, motionless, almost as if it's dead. However, when you touch it, it swims back down to the depths of our pool (approx. 5ft-9ft deep). Can anyone help me identify what kind of creature it is?

Let me know if you need some additional info. Thanks!

If you simplified the evolution theory down to one sentance: "Life changes to suit it's environment". Wouldn't that be undesputible? I mean we have proof for that much. And that allows the rest to fall into place, and the only limit placed on life is what the environment sets for it. I'm just asking if this makes any sense at all.

If I change my genetic code to be more like that of say a white man or a black man, since I am a grown adult, would there be any change in my skeletal structure or just in my skin colour? Would there be any other possible change, such as if I inserted genetics from an asian man, would there be soft tissue change in the shape of my eyelids?

This is not meant as a racist question, simply as a genetics question.
