de- is a prefix meaning no or not so deoxygenated means not oxygenated or without oxygen if it becomes oxygenated it means the blood has been enriched with oxygen. The pathway of blood circulation is as follows: superior or inferior vena cava- right atrium- right ventricle- pulmonary artery- lungs- pulmonary vein- left atrium- left ventricle- aorta
the pulmonary vein brings blood without oxygen into the lungs where respiration occurs to enrich the blood with oxygen then it is returned to the heart by the pulmonary vein

oxygen is picked up by the red blood cells while carbon dioxide leaves the body. this is done by respiration (occuring in the lungs).

Oxygen has been added and carbon dioxide removed, since you failed so specify which you wanted by not completing your question.
