SAY ONE PARENT IS 100% ITALIAN AND THE OTHER IS 100% IRISH, AND THEY HAVE TWO CHILDREN. CHILD 'A' LOOKS MORE "ITALIAN' THAN THE CHILD 'B', DOES THAT MEAN THAT CHILD 'A' HAS MORE ITALIAN GENES THAN CHILD 'B' , OR IS THAT JUST THE VISUAL CHARACTERISTICS THEY HAPPEN TO INHERIT? BASICALLY, IS CHILD 'A' MORE ITALIAN THAN IRISH?

i made up some agar-agar, but it doesn't seem to be like i remember it form high-school. i'm thinkin' that it needs some sort of nutrient for the bacteria to eat, and that the agar just retains water for the bacteria. i think we used chicken broth back in school. does anyone have any ideas as to an easy recipe for nutrient broth? i've found some recipes for the stuff, but they're more complicated. it's just a science project so it doesn't have to quite as technical as it does for a lab.

How were aquatic organisms suddenly able to live on land? It's not like i can just say,"Oh, i want to live underwater," and then jump in the water and i'm suddenly able to breath underwater. How did they adapt, and how long did it take them to adapt?

OK, in science class today, the class got into a huge debate about if blood was blue or red. I kept insisting that blood was red, along with some others, and others said that blood was blue until it came into contact with oxygen.

Someone tried to disprove the blue theory, as if blood was blue until in contact with oxygen, and as long as we all breathe and live, oxygen will always be carried through our blood, and it would always be red.

Now, I asked a friend who said that in the blue veins, blood carried no oxygen. But I'm not sure. So, to start up the debate again, I want to see if anyone can manage to change my mind or back me up.

Human performance enhancing substances have been proven to give us extreme strength, endurance, clarity, and other somewhat appealing attributes. In this day and age, it seems like the pros far outweigh the cons for many people. Should we look further into the implications of this branch of science on our species and develop safer, and more effective drugs? Do the benefits really outweight the downfalls?

They are less than a mm in size and almost invisible to they eye they have been bothering both me and my cat for the last three months. They like to land on my head in my hair and around my eyes and may be carnivourus or parasitic. they are too small to catch, and i have found at least 100 other accounts that are of very similar if not identical infestations online with a search engine yet and yet no one seems to have a definitive awnser to what type of bug it is? Can ANYONE identify it. I know that it would be insane to think it a new undiscovered species?
