because i heard about a alcoholic men who got very drunk, but ran out of drink, so staggered to the garage on the corner and tried to drink fuel..

Petrol (gasoline) is toxic. It causes chemical pneumonitis and severe gastrointestinal problems. People who drink it often die.

I've heard of alkies drinking after shave. There is some alcohol (methanol) in that.
Now that they turn old fish and chip oil into alcohol fuel, it might be OK - except for the methanol, of course.

i read a bloke got banned from asda because he kept going to the pump at the petrol station and drinking from it. it cant be good for your brain

people can get addicted to drinking petrol. it's very dangerous (obviously) but it's true, it happens.
