even today while touring around the off-limits ghost town of Prypiat people are warned with geiger counter in hand, to avoid any vegetation or wood because they retain very high concentraions of radioactivity. even stuff like moss or lichen, which coinicentally reindeer as far away as norway snack on and become radioactive themselves.

it's someone-i-know's biology project snd she really needs help!!!
she needs to make an analogy: the parts of a cell to the things found in a school---> like the nucleus is the principal and the cell membrane is the walls of the school. She still needs to finds analogies to CHLOROPLAST, DNA, AND THE GOLGI COMPLEX. She thinks that the mitochondrian compares to electricity in a school, so what is compareable to choloplast in a plant cell?

how come people get bigger then each other? is it the diet of their particular breed? can you take a smaller breed, isolate them, feed them more and make them a bigger breed or is it all just family genetics? how come say like Polynesians are bigger then regular asain people, I see some Tongans and Samoans that look similiar to me, but a lot bigger?
