Theoretically yes.
They are called the 'Mitochondrial Eve' and 'Mitochondrial Adam' respectively and were devised from biochemical analysis.
Although you would be wrong to call them people ,since the above mentioned couple are over 30 million years old.
All humans, apes, monkeys are descended from them too.
