it's someone-i-know's biology project snd she really needs help!!!
she needs to make an analogy: the parts of a cell to the things found in a school---> like the nucleus is the principal and the cell membrane is the walls of the school. She still needs to finds analogies to CHLOROPLAST, DNA, AND THE GOLGI COMPLEX. She thinks that the mitochondrian compares to electricity in a school, so what is compareable to choloplast in a plant cell?

I think you can still use school.

Cholorplast = canteen vendors
DNA = YOU
Golgi Apparatus = Teachers
Nucleus = Class
Membranes = walls
Mitochondria = canteen

Personally thats how I see it.

Compare it with a hard boiled egg. The yolk is the nucleus, the egg white is the cytoplasm and the shell as the cell wall. A thin film between the white and the shell can be the cell membrane.

If she wants an institutional school analogy, to continue her example, the principal's office is really the nucleus, the principal as DNA, the Golgi complex and endoplasmic reticulum will be the network of the different classrooms. The chloroplast can be the canteen.

well thats a tough one but i think u can compare the chloroplast of chromoplast to the teachers.
first of all because chloroplasts are the ones that give the cell its green pigment and is the one responsible for the process of photosynthesis so u can say that teachers are the ones who not only educate us but also teach us the skills required in our lives similar to that of the work of the chloroplast.
hope this helps
i tried but im not very good so all the best to that someone u know.

DNA would be the info in the books taught at the school
gogi complex=processing/packageing perhaps the cloakroom, where kids take/pout on theirs bags/coats
chloroplast, maybe a school that runs off solar power instead

pretty tricky project, good luck
