Recently i read a bood written by a Japanese writer, about blood types. It tells everything about different people with A, B, O & AB, how they are different in characters and what are the relationships bwtween different blood types.
What are your opinions and true experiences? If u are an O, how do find a person with A? (ME & MY BF :p)

For the sake of this question we will accept that Natural Selection and Evolutionary Theory are valid. This isn't a debate about Creationism or Intelligent Design. I'm just curious about thoughts regarding this particular aspect of Natural Selection.

New traits that enhance the organism's viability are very rare, so would it be likely that the organism in question would have to be as prolific as possible in order to disseminate these new traits?

Just curious...

By factual I mean supported by observable evidence viewable by all.. If there is no such evidence in your opinion then give observable evidence that disproves it. The Bible story of creation is here considered just another story book and is not considered observable evidence.

Thermus thermophilus is a bacteria which is able to survive under very unfavoured discription, e.g. hot temperature and deep pressure. It is believed it can do so because of its ability to replenish cells. However, can anyone provide any details on when and who discovered this bacteria, and if any possible side effects it will have on humans if they use it too extensively?

I'm a science teacher, I was teaching my class about hearing damage and we found out together how loud babies cry.
They asked me "why don't babies make themselves go deaf?" and I had lots of answers for them but no idea if they were right. Anyone know?

I just got a really cool compound microscope and are looking for some interesting things to put under it's lenses. Something that, say, moves or has little creatures (like dust mites) on it is what I find interesting. I know for sure, though that the first thing I am going to look at is a strand of human hair!
