Is the black hole really a hole in space?

And where does all the stuff it sucks go to?I mean since it's a hole it has got to have a bottom and it has to have a limit on how much stuff it can contain right? So where does all that stuff it sucks go to?

And also is a black hole a 2 dimentional thing or a three dimentional thing? a hole only has 2 dimentions right? O_o

This black hole sh_t has really got me..

A new dwarf planet (a term we'll define in the next unit) is discovered beyond Neptune. A tiny moon is discovered to be orbiting it at a constant distance of 4.9x10^8 m from the planet's center, with a period of 1.0x10^7 s. What is the planet's mass? [Use SI ("standard" or "metric") units.]

Hi, I have a particular question and I don't know how to go about it. Your help is appreciated.

Roughly how fast would you have had to move to follow the solar eclipse shadow in Europe in 1999?
Diameter (Sun)= 1.392*10^6km
Diameter (Moon)= 3476km
Diameter (Earth)= 12756km
Distance (Sun-Earth)= 1.5*10^8km
distance (Moon-Earth)= 384402km

Ok, we've all seen aliens when the queen is sent out the airlock to her death. If an airlock is opened in space, what would happen? Would all the air rush out and why?

Why doesn't the same force cause our atmosphere to do the same?

I know i've answered this question already, but i'm just so scared. I don't want to die. I mean, it is just really scary because i think about life too often, and i'm all like, omg, i'm going to die someday. Where do we go when we die? <-That's a rhetorical question, please don't answer it. My real question is: Is the world going to end? Ya know, on 12/21/12?

I just think it's crazy that everyone is panicking and so far there has been no PROOF about the world ending. Why would the world end when the calender ends? I just don't see what the hype is about. PLEASE NO RUDE COMMENTS. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION.
