I'm wondering if there are any microorganisms of any kind on board the various NASA probes (Voyager, Cassini, etc) that could survive in stasis and ultimately awaken, colonize a planet in another solar system, and perhaps evolve into more sophisticated alien lifeforms.

Hello,

I have seen this telescope:

http://www.telescopeplanet.co.uk/ViewProdDetails.asp?prod_code=PON07B000186

I was wondering if this seemed to be of a high quality, and if i would be able to see high deatails, for example saturns rings with it, even in a light polluted town??

It says it is motorised, what does this mean? Is it that when it has a database of objects, and you can selected certain ones, such as orion nebular, and it will automaticly point there for you?

Help would be nice!

Thanks.

was it a hoax by our government to impress the world?? What do you have to say about the scientific analysis of videos supposedly taken on the moon like the footprints when their is no gravity, the flag when there is no oxygen, and the ability of the space shuttle to exit the earths atomesphere and withstand 200 degrees differences in tempereture especially when "landing on the moon"?? All opinions and facts are welcome I just want to know the real answer.

There are thousands of satellites in near-space orbit. How do they not hit each other? Is there a navigational database to track them? Can satellites change their orbit in order to prevent foreseen collision? How is the orbit originally decided?
How do satellites avoid space debris?

The Aurora Borealis and Australis displays are caused by:

(1)The interaction of sunlight with the Earth's atmosphere.

(2)Charged particles from the solar wind that "funnel" down the Earth's magnetic field lines near the north and south poles.

(3)Weather displays in the troposphere.

(4)Charged particles from the solar wind that "funnel" down the Earth's magnetic field lines near the equator.

(5)Charged particles from the solar wind that "funnel" down the Moon's magnetic field lines near the north and south poles.

I'm beginning to doubt the "official" story that the Death Star was destroyed by small rebel fighters making a highly improbable single shot. I've seen the evidence, but I just don't believe it---I'm beginning to think the whole thing was staged in a back lot in Hollywood by the hated Americans. What do you think?
