Are there any reasons to doubt the moon landings? Yes, there are. None of the ones you mentioned, however. AresIV did an excellent job of disproving the examples you mentioned above. The things that bother me, however, are the videos taken on the moon. Who was holding the camera when we see Neil Armstrong step off the Lunar Lander? If the gravity on the moon is 1/6 of the gravity on earth, than the astronauts should have been able to jump 6-12 feet in the air, and in normal running situations they should have been 3-6 feet in the air and traveling 6-18 feet per step. In fact, when I was a kid I went to Space Camp, and they had a moon walk simulator. You were on a bunch of springs that made you weigh 1/6 of your weight. I could have easily jumped over any NBA players head. The videos from the moon do not show anything close to that. They just look slower than what you would expect. In fact, if you speed up moon landing footage, it looks perfectly normal.
Footage from 2 different moon landings, which supposedly landed 100s of miles from one another, are obviously filmed at the exact same location, with the camera located at the exact same position.
Many official NASA photos are clearly doctored, too. Photoshop would have done a better job doctoring the photos than they did (of course personal computers had not even been invented at the time).
Now does all this mean we didn't go to the moon? No. It means we MIGHT not have. There may be other explanations, too. Perhaps we were conducting other military experiments on the moon while we were there. Things that we couldn't easily show. It is possible that much of the footage WAS shot on earth because the government didn't want to show the ACTUAL missions. There are probably dozens of explanations. It DOES seem, however, that there is SOMETHING that the government isn't telling us. There is not enough evidence, however, to jump to the conclusion that we never went to the moon.
There is a way we can know for sure. If we went to the moon, we left a lot of stuff behind. No telescope on earth can see the surface of the moon in enough detail to see if it is still there, unfortunately. Since the question is whether or not the government has been lying to us for 40 years we cannot trust information they give us without having it verified by an outside source first. Hopefully someday we will have that verification. Other governments are talking about sending satellites around the moon for their own scientific research. These satellites could possibly verify the existence or absence of NASA equipment on the moon left over from the Apollo missions. It is even possible that a private corporation could do the same thing. Eventually we will know if the moon landings were staged or not. Whether or not it happens in our lifetime remains to be seen.

OK.
First things first...
1) The Moon does have gravity. It has about 1/6 of the gravity of Earth.
2) The Moon not only has no oxygen, it has no atmosphere. Earth's atmosphere is composed of 70 percent Nitrogen, which moots your oxygen point. Also, wind is not the only thing that can make a flag fly. The flag planted on the Moon had a telescoping pole through the top that extended the flag. In the Moons gravity, the flag would lay limp against the pole as there is no wind to blow it. The flag was designed to give the impression of "blowing" in the wind. When it is moving in the videos the astronauts are planting it in the ground, and twisting the pole... of course it will wave around while they are manipulating it.
3) The Space Shuttle is NEVER used for anyting other than orbital flights to space. In fact, the Shuttle did not fly until 1984... the Apollo missions occurred between 1969 to the mid 1970's.
4) Temperature differences were known for in-sun and out-of sun space travel. The Saturn V rockets used to get to the Moon were designed to withstand these temp swings, and were equipped with life support and atmospheric control systems to keep the astronauts safe.
We went to the Moon, there is no "scientific" evidence that supports the hoax theories. All the scientific evidence points to the fact that we DID go to the Moon. The only "evidence" that exists that says we didn't is misplaced logic, and a complete and total undereducation and gullibilty of those that belive in the hoax.

1) Twelve 12 American astronauts have walked on the moon.
Apollo 11: Neil Armstrong & Buzz Aldrin
Apollo 12: Pete Conrad & Alan Bean
Apollo 13: << failed to land on the moon >>
Apollo 14: Alan Shepard & Edgar (Ed) Mitchell
Apollo 15: David Scott & James Irwin
Apollo 16: John Young & Charles Duke
Apollo 17: Eugene (Gene) Cernan & Harrison Schmidt
2) Why haven't we been back?
a) American astronauts visited the moon on six occasions.
b) The "moon race" was an extension of the cold war. It was mostly about national prestige. We got there first and achieved our primary objective. There was some good science: surveys, measurements, sample collection. But it was mostly about being there first. Once we achieved our primary objective, there was no political will to go back. There still isn't. Perhaps, if we discover He3 or something else valuable, there will be.
c) I used to travel to Crested Butte, Colorado every year to ski. Because I don't go anymore, does it mean that I never went?
3) What about the Van Allen radiation belts? Wouldn't it have killed the astronauts?
The existence of the Van Allen radiation belts postulated in the 1940s by Nicholas Christofilos. Their existence was confirmed in *1958* by the Explorer I satellite launched by the USA.
The radiation in the Van Allen radiation belts is not particularly strong. You would have to hang out there for a week or so in order to get radiation sickness. And, because the radiation is not particularly strong, a few millimeters of metal is all that is required for protection. "An object satellite shielded by 3 mm of aluminum will receive about 2500 rem (25 Sv) per *year*."
"In practice, Apollo astronauts who travelled to the moon spent very little time in the belts and received a harmless dose. [6]. Nevertheless NASA deliberately timed Apollo launches, and used lunar transfer orbits that only skirted the edge of the belt over the equator to minimise the radiation." When the astronauts returned to Earth, their dosimeters showed that they had received about as much radiation as a couple of medical X-rays.
4) The U.S. government scammed everyone?
In 1972, there was a politically motivated burglary of a hotel room in the Watergate Hotel in Washington, D.C. There were only about six or eight people who knew about it. However, those people, including Richard M. Nixon, the President of the United States, failed to keep that burglary a secret. It exploded into a scandal that drove the President and a number of others from office.
If six or eight people couldn't keep a hotel room burglary a secret, then how could literally thousands of people could have kept their mouths shut about six faked moon landings? Not just one moon landing, but six of them!
5) What about the USSR?
Even if NASA and other government agencies could have faked the six moon landings well enough to fool the general public, they could NOT have fooled the space agency or military intelligence types in the USSR. The Soviets were just dying to beat us. If the landings were faked, the Soviets would have re-engineered their N-1 booster and landed on the moon just to prove what liars Americans are. Why didn't they? Because the landings were real and the Soviets knew it.
6) Why does the flag shake? Where are the stars? Who took the video of Neil Armstrong?
Take a look at the first two websites listed below. They deal well with all of the technical questions.
7) Finally, please tell us what you would accept as definitive evidence that the six moon landings were real. Is there anything?

I have answered this question several times in the past and yes, we did land on the Moon. Several times! Some people will find conspiracy in almost anything. I am not going to go over every disputed"evidence" but I will say this much. The Moon does have gravity (though at about 1/6 that of Earth). The Astronauts would leave footprints in the soft top layer of soil they were standing on. Secondly, do you really think with the World watching and the Soviets monitoring our progress, we could have staged such a large scale hoax? The Soviets would have had a field day exposing us. And by the way, there was no space shuttle in those days. The capsule which carried the astronauts to the Moon was light enough to land and take off from the Moon's surface. And designed to handle the extremes of space travel.

The Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter is used for mapping the moon at higher accuracy and allow better landing site selection...During the initial Apollo program landings, the available photographs from lunar orbit had so low quality, that Apollo 11 had to fly 22,500 ft/6858 m further west from the planned landing site to avoid some house-size boulders that did not appear on the landing site maps. (I initially wrote 700m, that was not correct, 22,500 ft are more like 7000m ) Such kind of surprise is of course no serious problem, if you have enough fuel and free space to maneuver, but can't be a option if you plan to land multiple landers in groups together to form research complexes. Also: We have the technology now to make better maps - why not use it and make better maps? ;) We already have used probes to make geology maps of the moon, which we didn't really care about during the Apollo era, but which will play a role in the next missions. The main difference between today and the Apollo program is roughly all: Apollo had only one goal, land a human on the moon and return him safely before 1969 is over. The secondary goal, which was hidden between these lines, was to create the spaceflight infrastructure inside the USA needed for such missions. All other unimportant stuff, like science or have a second astronaut on the moon at the same time, was optional. It was all about the needed flags and footprints to turn the tide in the space race and also catch up with the fictional US image of the USSR, which had a strong technological lead then - despite the truth, like we know it today after the iron curtain fell, looked less favorable for the USSR. They just had the will to take more risks... and until this risky approach changed lost 5 cosmonauts and had many many near misses, which only luck prevented to become a complete failure. Today, all is different. The USSR does no longer exist. Russia and the many other small countries that emerged from it are more our friends than our mortal enemies. The congress is no longer willed to finance spaceflight at all costs, instead you have to work with less than 10% of the Apollo budgets. Flags and footprints are no longer interesting, we have been there, done that. The USA need to top Apollo, with less money. The USA luckily no longer need to build a new infrastructure on Earth, this one exists now already and much of the Apollo stuff is still in use and still impressive (There is still nothing like the VAB around in the world). We can also buy many parts now mass-produced from private companies, and no longer need to use expensive prototypes. But of course, the requirements are also higher now. 2 humans are not enough, it should be at least 4. Just short stays on the moon are no longer good, Apollo 17 is the reference that has to be topped (Apollo 17 was the longest and most science intensive stay on the moon). Building a base on the moon is now a must, as it was already planned to be a must for the second series of missions of Apollo. The hardware has to be more capable and more economic at the same time. If Apollo was just six short visits on the moon, the new program has the goal to be "here to stay". Nobody will want to see another 40 year gap in the lunar spaceflight history. The USA didn't even send unmanned probes to the moon for decades - the interest was gone.

I suppose its a generation "Y" thing that they doubt the moon landings; there seems to be a lot of questions here about that fact.
A vast conspiracy! Get off the tube and go read some damn books.
The flag had a spring in it to cause it to wave, dear.
And I suppose the whole Apollo 13 near disaster-thing (there was a movie with Tom Hanks you can watch) was all made up also?
We really did travel the moon, not just once but several times and a handful of men had the privilege to stand on her surface and gaze at the Earth.

It was real. The hoax idea was started by the Flat Earth Society. When we came back with photo's of the round earth, they claimed it was fake to save face . If you chose to believe that also, you're society is waiting for a new member.
Added -- Check history the Space Shuttle wasn't around when we went to the moon and it experiences that temperature different constantly and contrary to what you say, the moon does have gravity.

To find the most comprehensive explanation that the moon landing were not a hoax but real, click on the following link:

And, to add my own opinion, if the landings were fake the Russians, who were our enemies and competitors in the moon race, surely would have produced proof of the fake to discredit us if it were true.
