if you had the choice to live and work abord the international space station for 6-7 months, would you do it, considering the risks and negative impacts like the dangerous flight to and back from the I.S.S, and being alone with a few other people for that whole period of time, and not being with friends or family for such a long time?

The WD stars all have a mass between .7 and 1.4 solar mass and range in temperature between a few thousand degrees and 25,000 degrees. I am looking for data that shows how mass and temperature are related in these type of stars.

Why were asteroids not discovered until the 19th century?

A.although asteroids are the same size as the planets, they are completely covered with dark dusty material, which means they reflect almost no light

B.several asteroids collided with each other in early 1801, calling them to the attention of astronomers

C.in their long looping orbits, it was not until the 19th century that an asteroid came close enough to the Earth to be detectable

D.only after Halley's work did astronomers think to look for the tails which allow us to spot an asteroid

E.asteroids are generally small compared to planets and require a
good telescope and patient searching to spot them

I'm almost postive it's A.

If there are at least a million asteroids, how did spacecraft like Galileo survive their trip through the asteroid belt?

c.earth rotates on its axis
d.earth is approximately 40,074 kilometers in circumference

At the time, they thought the Earth was flat. So how did they explain a lunar ecipse (since we now know it as the shadow of the Earth on the moon)?

Should this question be asked in "History"?!
