apparently according to scientists etc that energy can never be lost, it can only be transfered. If that is the case how come with the millions of years life has been on earth, dinosours, cavemen etc , why arn't we all buzzing with the enrgy all in the air.?, does this make sence?

yes it does make sence. when you die your body rots and animals(maggots, bugs, etc etc) eat your corpse and what they dont eat will just decompose into the soil. the food(your corpse) transforms into the energy that they need to continue living, so when things die, their energy is transfered into the living organisms. anything they dont eat eventually decomposes into the soil, where plants and other organisms will use it for energy as well. that just seems to be the most logic answer i could think of.

Energy can be lost and gained to and from the Earth. We get energy from the Sun and loose energy to space.

The Earth is not a closed system from the energy point of view.

a body loses energy in the form of heat and since our skin gives off heat, it then goes into the atmosphere around us. it then leaves the atmosphere or is used in some other process. It never really goes away, it just becomes something else.
