lol, no, the earth is a planet orbiting the sun on an axis, taking 365.25 complete rotations to make it once around. Do not worry, we are not all on a big spaceship

In essence, yes.
If we could build a space ship large enough with a magnetic field, we could live on the outside surface and maintain an atmosphere.
