IF the universe is expanding, do galaxies that are close together move apart faster or slower than galaxies that are far apart?

Organisims in the human body somehow is similar to galaxy clusters. Example, Blood has oxygen and Oxygen atoms looks like miniature solar system. Elements found on earth can be found on any human being. Therefore maybe we are elements of a larger being?

What keeps the earth stationary in our solar system, gravitational pull? if it is gravity, how do comets escape that same pull? is the gravitational pull caused by the black hole at the center of our galaxy? and why doesn't the black hole suck the comets into it?
