I can find out the size of the moon but what does that really mean to me? I only have the horizon by which to judge the immensity of something. So, how far above the horizon could I see if the moon were as near to me as possible while I am on the Earth?

Like i know that there is no "up" or "down" in space...
but why do we always send ships out.. away past all of the other planets?

why not in a direction to go "down" or "above"?

Is it true that twin electrons act as if they were joined? Like the phase of one electron of a twin is manipuled and the other electron no matter the distance will change phase in excactly the same manner at the same time. If this is true could we make a computer type device, each one made with twins of each other that could be used to communicate over long distances of space instantly?

IF the moon earth etc etc all have gravity what keeps them from being pulled into each other and staying in thier orbit?? i mean if the moon has enough gravity to effect the tide on earth seems like the earth would just pull the moon into it self
