Well, that can be a tough question in a couple ways. I would like to think the Lord would return before we could manage to wipe ourselves out. But, with the rate the ice is melting, for whatever reason, we are going to lose a lot of land in the next 75-100 years.
That will put a strain on the resource's of what's left. Natural disasters and disease become more destructive as population density increases. A plague of some sort could end us all. Or maybe an asteroid comes along like the one that killed the dinosaurs. Kaplooy! No one really knows! Kinda hope I'm alive whatever it is.

The most likely to happen is the lack of resources in the next 3hundred years or so. If it is not the apocalypse , an asteroid or comet or global warming its going to be lack of resource with the world fighting over the last bits of land and resources in the world if not any of the above the world will just melt when the sun turns into a red giant in a million years or so or maybe if possible extraterrestrials or other intelligent life will help us out or something in the years to come....

No, there is no possibility that humans will extinct eachother. Look at history! No species has ever killed themselves!

It is as simple as this. There will be problems that humans face, but there are so many of us that will solve those problems that we will survive.

The only thing that might extinct us is one thing:

A huge meteorite that strikes Earth and blows out a huge chunk of the Earth into space (like how the Moon was formed).

But, we are smart enough to not let this happen :)

EDIT: There is NO POSSIBLE WAY OF A BLACK HOLE IN OUR SOLAR SYSTEM. Please disregard the answer above. That person does not know anything.

I think the human race will simply "dumb" itself to death. Look at some of the questions here in YA, and you know that the level of simple intelligence is dropping like a stone. A few more generations and we won't be smart enough as a race to survive. Darwin was right, and we'll be the losers in the end.

I don't believe that humans are capable of completely destroying ourselves. Now we could come extremely close to destroying human life by a nuclear explosion or maybe even with some kind of super virus. Our numbers would be few, but human life will still be on this planet.

There is a chance of machines taking over, supposedly by 2040 machines will be able to match human intelligence. And who's to say that they wouldn't want to take over. Humans want to conquer everything, who's to say machines wouldn't want to do the same.

The human race will be ended by the human race.
All the damage is done. Now we just sit and wait.
What an abysmal failure we turned out to be... We had so much possibility! Such as shame... Just deserts for the ignorant, greedy and complacent fools we are.

The human race is destined to go out of existence by it"s own hand.

more than likely the human race will cause its own extinction, but something from outer-space could impact us : )

Liberals who refuse to fund our space program so we can get off this rock before an asteroid slams into it.
